Twenty five years ago I experienced an awakening after a ten day Vipassana meditation course. The revelation that my level of consciousness directly influenced my day to day experience of reality started me on an inner journey and a practice which was to take me to India, North America and then, after a sojourn in London to study Montessori education, to Japan where I helped establish a Vipassana meditation centre near Kyoto. It was whilst living in Japan that I began my work with Reflexology and realized the extraordinary correspondence, discovered by the Chinese 5000 years before, between the feet and the physical, emotional, psychological and spiritual aspects of a human being.

Whilst in Japan I worked ceremoniously with shamans from the Amazonian rainforest of Brazil. Wishing to learn more I accepted an invitation to visit them and to work more deeply with their medicinal plants and ceremonies. During a year living with them I met a French botanist who, knowing my enthusiasm for Reflexology, showed me Gaston Saint-Pierre's book on the Metamorphic Technique. I was intrigued and on my return to England in 2001 I contacted the Association to learn more about this mysterious technique.

A Metamorphic Technique workshop ensued with the same Gaston Saint-Pierre during the course of which he asked me to assist him at the Association for a week or two. I stayed for two and a half years practicing the Technique and learning to teach it before taking the Association office into my new home in Hastings.

In 2007 all the tools I have developed in my life came to the fore when I experienced partial paralysis as a result of a spinal tumor. In 2009 I am walking again and clear of cancer. I am dedicated to sharing this wonderful technique. May all beings experience real happiness!
